Tacoma Rainiers Week In Review, July 24-30

A nice Sunday morning Tacoma Rainiers week in review for you, checking out this past week’s blog posts.

We started out by previewing the El Paso series, and looking back at a tremendous play made by outfielder Marcus Wilson.

Then we celebrated a shutout of the hard-hitting Chihuahuas.

After Wednesday night’s game went to extra innings, we checked to see if the Rainiers really are playing a whole lot of extra-inning games this season. The short answer: yes. The longer answer: here.

Tacoma pitching shut down the potent El Paso offense again on Thursday.

Finally, we checked in on outfielder Forrest Wall, who has a chance to be one of the most prolific base stealers in Tacoma franchise history.

After today’s game the Rainiers are off on Monday, and then open a six-game away series at Sacramento on Tuesday night at 6:35. Our next blog post will come on Tuesday afternoon.
