Tacoma Rainiers Week In Review, August 21-27

We’re celebrating the 30th and final game of the year against Salt Lake with our Tacoma Rainiers Week In Review! Here are the posts from the past week:

It started on Tuesday with a review of the Rainiers homestand-closing walk-off win, and a preview of the Salt Lake series.

The Rainiers opened the Salt Lake series by pitching a shutout.

Next up, we broke down Taylor Trammell’s career stats at Smith’s Ballpark – which have held up, by the way: he’s now 24-for-48 (.500) all time on this field.

Keeping with the statistics, our next post took a dive into Trammell and Jarred Kelenic’s recent trend of hitting for more contact.

Yesterday’s post was about how the Rainiers just keep on playing Salt Lake… which finally ends today.

After today’s game the Rainiers fly home, have a day off on Monday, and host the Sacramento River Cats in a six-game series that starts Tuesday at 7:05. There are only 12 home games remaining, so try to make it out to the park if you can! Our next blog post will arrive Tuesday afternoon.
