Hours of Work: Typical hours of non-game day work will be 10 AM – 4 PM (varied). Estimated game day hours will be 4 PM – 9 PM (varied). Start and end date vary on circumstance.
Compensation: College credit.
Game Day Staff
- Security (must be 21 years old)
- Ushers (must be 18 years old)
- Customer Service Attendant
- Greeters
- Party Deck Attendants
- Parking Attendants
- Ticket Scanners
- Ticket Sellers
- Fun Squad Member
Hours of Work: This position is a gameday position and therefore will work variable hours.

Schedule: day after every home game/some events, times will vary

Manager of Field Operations
The Manager of Field Operations is responsible for maintaining the natural grass playing surface at Cheney Stadium, host to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. During the season this role entails managing a seasonal crew under the supervision of the Director of Field Operations. The position includes preparation of the field for games, adhering to a field maintenance regimen to ensure a safe and playable surface.
- College graduate (or enrolled) of a 2 or 4 yr Turf Management degree or similar major
- Baseball field maintenance experience
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Knowledge of turf grass management practices
- Ability to perform labor intensive tasks
- Staff management, and time management skills
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Able to lift 75 lbs
- Able to work long hours, some weekends, and some holidays
Facility Maintenance Manager
Salary: $50-60k annual salary D.O.E., plus benefits
- Work well with co-workers and/or ability to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative
- Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working at various heights
- Knowledge of safety precautions applicable to building equipment and repair
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials
- Ability to work in inclement weather, tight spaces, at heights, and lift 75 lbs
- Basic computer skills such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook
- Performs other duties as assigned
Office Coordinator
The Tacoma Rainiers are looking for an enthusiastic full-time Office Coordinator. This position requires someone who is an energetic, team player with excellent communication/customer service skills. Candidates must be able to use good judgment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly motivated individuals with superior interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- General accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must work well in a team environment and adjust accordingly to various working styles and tasks
- Excellent customer service skills, be able to deal with difficult people at times
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, within short time constraints
- A can do attitude
- Candidate will be excited to be a part of a dynamic and fun working environment
