It’s a busy day as Cheney Stadium hosts two soccer matches in a 24 hour span. It kicks off with NWSL action as Reign FC host Sky Blue FC at 1:00 p.m. This match sees the return former Reign FC star Nahomi Kawasumi as she faces Reign FC for the first time. The evening affair sees Tacoma Defiance clash with Reno 1868 FC at 7:00 p.m.

The Tacoma Team Store opens at 11 a.m. for all your Reign FC, Tacoma Defiance, and Tacoma Rainiers merch needs.

It is Reign FC’s second home match at Cheney Stadium. In their first game here, they drew 1-1. Sky Blue is 0-1-1 on the road in 2019.

• 11:30 a.m. – Start your matchday with Defiantly Tacoma Happy Hour sponsored by Alaskan Brewing with 12oz draft beers and sangria for $5.
• 1:00 p.m. – Kickoff.
• About 2:50 p.m. – BECU Fan Zone – stay after the match to receive autographs from your favorite NWSL players.

After the autograph session, Cheney Stadium will empty out and prepare for the Tacoma Defiance match.

Defiance are 2-3-0 at home with four goals scored in their last three matches at Cheney Stadium. Reno 1868 is coming off two matches against Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday and Wednesday.
